Another Quality Project
It’s amazing what a quality high-speed fiber laser is capable of. This particular project had extensive individual cuts so piercing speed was very important. The material pictured is 1/2″ 304 Stainless Steel and was programmed and run on our 10K Bystronic Fiber Laser. On the close-up shot, you can clearly see the cut quality on the inside edge of the parts. We cleaned up the surface of the material, but the inside edges are untouched. FABTECH Trip
LJ Fabricators had an awesome day in Chicago yesterday. As a company, we attended #FABTECH2021 (North America’s largest metal forming, fabrication, welding, and finishing event). Quite an experience to to see all the latest technology under one roof. A special thanks to LJ Fab management for hosting/sponsoring the entire day (breakfast, transportation, event tickets, lunch, and the evening was topped off with steak dinner & dessert). It was a great day for some education, good food & camaraderie. We look forward to having you VISIT so you can experience our culture and see first hand why we love metal fabrication. Patriot Day 2021
Hard to believe that Saturday, September 11th, 2021 marks twenty years since 9/11. Most of us can recall exactly where we were when we learned of the attacks. May we never forget that day. A day of remembrance for the 2,977 killed in the attacks and for all those who gave their lives because of that day. FABTECH 2021- Chicago, IL
LJ Fabricators will be closed on Monday, September 13th, as we will be attending FABTECH 2021. FABTECH is North American’s largest metal forming, fabricating, welding & finishing event. While FABTECH is an annual event, we are very fortunate as it is held at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL every other year. LJ Fab makes it a priority to provide all employees with transportation, admission cost, and all meals for the day, giving them an opportunity to learn about the latest industry technologies. Hib Reber Memorial Car Show
We were honored to work with Darrell Reber on making trophies this year for the 30th Annual Hib Reber Memorial Car Show. There were (17) “Best Of” trophies and another (50) “Top 50” trophies. The car show was in Byron, IL on Saturday, July 11th and they had a record turnout with (209) cars on display this year! Most impressive fact about the car show is that all the proceeds will go to Darkhorse Lodge in TN. Darkhorse Lodge is an all expenses paid retreat for combat veterans. It is being built in honor of US Marine, LCpl Alec E. Catherwood (from Byron, IL) along with the (24) other Marines in the Darkhorse unit that lost their lives serving our country. There will be (25) rooms at the lodge – Each one named after the heroes of Darkhorse. If you would like to donate to this worthy cause, click the link above to visit their website.
