Custom Pan – How It’s Made
This pan is a regular part at LJ Fabricators. 14 gauge stainless steel is cut on our Fiber Laser, formed on our 13′ wide Press Brake, and welded on our Robotic Weld Cell. Today (June 14th) commemorates the adoption of the American flag by Congress 245 years ago (1777). Flag Day was officially declared a holiday on August 3rd, 1949 by President Harry S. Truman. Things Are Looking Bright At LJ Fab!
The lighting in our shop got a nice upgrade as we recently completed another continuous improvement project. We have always been told that we have a well lit shop. Wait til you see it now! Aside from the brighter environment, there are also numerous cost & health benefits associated with new lighting. The team here is definitely enjoying the upgrade. Being Square Isn’t All Bad
Beautiful piece of 1/2″ carbon steel passing through today. Material was cut on our 10K Fiber Laser and formed on our Bystronic Press Brake. This particular part was made out of (2) pieces and then welded together. Weld was ground flush & blended and the exterior is now one seamless piece. Armed Forces Day 2022
While Veterans’ Day celebrates the service of all U.S. military veterans, and Memorial Day honors those who died serving in American wars, Saturday, May 21st is Armed Forces Day. President Truman led the effort for this holiday to honor those currently serving in the U.S. military. Armed Forces Day was first celebrated May 1950. Then in 1961, President Kennedy signed a proclamation declaring it a national holiday to be celebrated on every 3rd Saturday in May.
